When it comes to casual elegance, no one does it quite like The Duchess of Sussex. The royal gave off major Audrey Hepburn vibes in the monochromatic outfit she wore to attend a brunch with friends at Gracias Madre restaurant in Melrose Avenue, West Hollywood.
While at Hello! Fashion we were obsessed with every element of her sophisticated ensemble, there was one accessory in particular we couldn’t get enough of… her Chanel 19 Large Stitch Bag which hails from the maison’s 2021 collection. Meghan wore the bag with a MaxMara Lilia Cashmere Coat and kept the outfit monochromatic with Maison Valentino Roman Stud Flat Mule in Ivory paired with sunglasses from the same brand.

This history of the Chanel 19 Bag:
The bag Meghan wore is distinctive due to it’s oversize stitching and it’s provenance. In fact the Chanel 19 bag's origins can be traced back to (you guessed it 2019) and the last collection of the revered Karl Lagerfeld who designed it together with his protégé and eventual successor Virginie Viard. The name “pays tribute to its elder, the 2.55 bag, created in February 1955 by Mademoiselle Chanel,” the brand explains of the style on its website. The bag became an instant hit after its debut, thanks to its contemporary twist on the classic flap style which was reimagined it for the 21st century audience. Just like its predecessor the bag is also named after the year of its creation.
Although sadly the same bag is no longer available for purchase we have found 5 similar styles to the one Meghan wore, for you get the look...
