Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett-Smith's daughter Willow is currently performing at Coachella, but the singer has a beautiful property in Malibu to return to once the festival ends. She purchased the home aged 19, but she had been living away from home for years before then.

Will and Jada share children Jaden, 24, and Willow, 22, while Will is also father to his son Trey, 30, whom he welcomed with ex-wife Sheree Zamino. All three have forged successful careers for themselves, which may have been a deciding factor in their search for their own properties when they were just teenagers.

Back in 2017, Jada revealed Willow, then aged just 16, was only returning to the family home in between travelling the world for work. "It's funny, they're not around, but they are," Jada told Haute Living, referring to the fact that then-18-year-old Jaden was also in Toronto filming Life in a Year.

"I don't even have time to miss them! Willow loves to call me every day, and even Jaden, when he's away on set, still needs to see Will and I when he gets homesick," she added.

Willow's chic waterfront apartment in Malibu, which she purchased for $3.1 million, boasts over 2,000 square feet of space with a modern interior. It's located just 30 minutes drive away from her parent's home in the star-studded neighborhood of Calabasas, which counts the Kardashians among its other famous residents.

Worth an estimated $42 million, Will and Jada's family home features nine bedrooms, a meditation lounge, a pool room, a home theatre, and even a recording studio, where Willow reportedly recorded her hit single Whip My Hair. It also boasts facilities such as basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, its very own lake, and an outdoor pool.

When asked about how spending so much time at home during lockdown impacted her, Willow told Glamour: "I've had a lot of time to just sit and think about a lot of my childhood traumas that still seep into my life today."

She added: "Honestly against my will at times because when you're just sitting at home, things come up and your mind just starts going."
