Good morning, royal watchers!

Happy Wednesday, royal watchers! It's a busy day in the British royal calendar today, with Prince William, Duchess Sophie and the Princess Royal all set for solo engagement across the day. 

Prince William will attend the Tusk Trust Awards at the Savoy, and hand out awards, while the Duchess of Edinburgh will be out in Oxford visiting Windale Community Hub, RAW Workshop and Ronald McDonald House.

Meanwhile, Princess Anne will open the 'Engine as a Weapon' 2025 Conference in Portsmouth, and later will attend the Annual General Meeting and Discussion Dinner at The Institution of Civil Engineers in London.

Prince Harry's case against Mail publisher returns to High Court

Prince Harry and six others are bringing a legal action against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL), and the case is due to return to the High Court today for a pre-trial hearing.

The group includes Sir Elton John, his husband David Furnish and Liz Hurley, all of whom allege that ANL carried out or commissioned unlawful activities, such as hiring private investigators to place listening devices inside cars and accessing private phone conversations. ANL denies the allegations.

The trial is expected to begin in January.

King Charles to discuss passion for environment on This Natural Life Christmas special

The King will appear on a special Christmas edition of BBC Radio 4's This Natural Life, hosted by Martha Kearney, where he will speak about his passion for the environment.

The festive episode, which will air on 23 December, will bring listeners to Dumfries House in East Ayrshire, the headquarters of the King's Foundation charity.

Martha said: "It was great to see the King so relaxed in a place which means so much to him and where he puts his philosophy of nature into practice."

Prince Harry nine years ago

To mark the 35th Anniversary of Independence in Antigua and Barbuda and the 50th Anniversary of Independence in Barbados and Guyana, Prince Harry visited the Caribbean in 2016. On this day, nine years ago, he was seen making a new friend. King Charles' son greeted a young boy called Jyasi Junior and even gave him tickles as he visited a Turtle Conservation Project on the seventh day of his official visit.

Giving back

It's Thanksgiving week in the US, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have road tiepped foen to Los Angeles to help out at a kitchen providing food to those in need.

Meghan and Harry prepared meals at the Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles (OBKLA), a community-run non-profit kitchen, which prepares and distributes meals for people in the city experiencing hardship.

Dancing King

I am now picturing Prince Louis walking around the home screaming: "BASIL!"

On the royal agenda today...

Good morning, royal watchers!

On the agenda today, we have The Princess of Wales who will be making a special visit to children’s mental health charity Anna Freud, of which she is Patron, to discuss the vital role of relationships and connection in shaping babies, children and young people’s future life outcomes. Her Royal Highness’ visit comes as The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood launches a new project with Anna Freud to enhance the skills of health visitors to support early social and emotional development.

Overseas, we have King Felipe and Queen Letizia continuing to host the President and First Lady of Germany in a State Visit to Spain.

Princess Anne is at the AGM of Riding for the Disabled Association and will also host a Christmas tea party for The Not Forgotten Association at St. James's Palace.
