Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi shared a tender look as they attended the wedding of Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling on Saturday after rumours of an ongoing rift.
The couple, who married in 2020, arrived at All Saints' Church in Kemble, Cirencester, alongside Beatrice's sister Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank.
Beatrice looked elegant in a long-sleeved Emilia Wickstead midi dress, which featured a floral leaf print.
The princess added height to her frame with a pair of beige heels and also wore a cream hat.
Carrying a matching handbag, she completed her look for the wedding with a pair of simple gold earrings.
Property developer Edoardo looked dapper in a knee-length navy jacket, which he wore with a light blue shirt, yellow waistcoat and grey trousers.
Peter and Harriet were supported by their bridal party, including his teenage daughters from his first marriage to Autumn Kelly – Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14 - and Harriet's daughter, Georgina.
The groom's divorced parents, the Princess Royal and Captain Mark Phillips, his stepfather Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, his sister Zara Tindall and her husband Mike, were among the guests.
The King and Queen were also in attendance, as well as the Prince and Princess of Wales, and the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
'Rift' rumours
The outing comes amid rumours of a rift between Beatrice and Edoardo brought on by tensions over her father Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
A source told the Daily Mail that Andrew's fall from grace sparked tensions between 'daddy's girl' Beatrice and Edoardo, who reportedly wants to maintain his distance from the House of York.
However, friends of the couple told HELLO! exclusively that rumours suggesting they were experiencing marital difficulties were not true at all.
According to a source, the couple, like many others, are simply balancing physical distance due to work commitments with family life, following Edoardo’s recent international travel.
The insider explained that their main challenge is managing demanding careers alongside raising their children. Both have recently worked abroad and, like so many working parents, must juggle professional obligations with childcare.
Sources insist that recent speculation about trouble in their relationship is entirely unfounded, emphasizing that the couple remains strong and that any recent distance between them has been purely due to work-related travel.
