Princess Beatrice's husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 42, has jetted in and out of the US for an exciting work trip, his company Instagram has revealed. Now, he's back on UK soil and ready for a big change.
Just like many English households, Beatrice and Edoardo will be preparing for the back-to-school routine after a summer off. It's likely that the family spent their break in their luxury home in the Cotswolds, and now they will be required in London, where their eldest, Sienna, and Edoardo's son, Wolfie, go to school. Their second daughter, Athena, is currently only one.
It was in a rare interview with The Times that Edoardo clarified that they still use their St James's Palace home due to school commitments. He revealed he walks past his own £42 million design project in Belgravia each day for the school run.
Inside Edoardo's work trip
The company, Banda, often shares updates from their incredible renovation projects as well as their work trips. The first of the series of posts for this particular trip read: "Good Morning! The Banda team is off for a quick stop visiting one of our upcoming projects halfway across the world, are you excited?"
A further post showed CEO Edoardo getting hands-on. It read: "Edo our CEO is already assessing all available options in the workshop." The concluding post showed an airport runway with the words: "A quick trip but nonetheless eventful one, thank you America, and it won't be long until we see you again."
The trip was posted to Instagram Stories retrospectively, after they had returned home, no doubt for privacy reasons.
Edoardo's last Instagram post on his personal feed was a dedicated birthday tribute to his wife. He penned: "Happy Birthday to my phenomenal, beautiful wife. We love so much. You make our world. Love E,W,S,A xxxx. 8.8.88," alongside a series of personal snaps. One of the shots was a sweet selfie taken on the day of Harriet Sperling's nuptials in June.
The post garnered a lot of love from fans, who also chose to send many happy returns to Beatrice. One follower took the opportunity to share some words of advice and support amid Beatrice's father's scandal. The comment read: "Stay strong, you two. When any crisis strikes in life, the secret is to make your life smaller for a time, go to ground with your immediate family until it will eventually pass you by. Think of how a tortoise will retreat into its shell insulated from all else. Love you both and, your three children."
