Prince William's cameo in an Apple TV show has quietly been nominated for two Emmy nominations – after Meghan Markle also received the honour.
The Prince of Wales, 44, appeared in Eugene Levy's travel comedy series The Reluctant Traveller back in October 2025.
The show saw one of William's most intimate interviews yet, as he opened up about the "hardest year I've ever had" after his wife, the Princess of Wales , and father, King Charles, were both diagnosed with cancer in 2024.
The programme has now been nominated for Outstanding Writing For A Nonfiction Program and Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series or Special.
William has yet to acknowledge the nominations on social media accounts. He was behind several viral moments from the series, for example, as he arrived at Windsor Castle on an e-scooter and joked with the Canadian actor about getting drunk.
Prince William's best moments in Eugene Levy's The Reluctant Traveller
During a walk through Windsor Great Park, the future King, 44, could be heard asking the Schitt's Creek star, if "getting drunk with Prince William is on your bucket list?".
Eugene replied with a grin: "That's the bucket," as William laughed in response and said: "That's the bucket, is it?"
The moment also gave royal fans a rare glimpse of the Waleses' puppy, Orla, who joined them on the walk.
The American Pie star asked the Prince: "What do you do when you're home?" William replies, laughing: "Sleep… when you've got three small children, sleep was an important part of my life."
William also gave Eugene a personal tour of Windsor Castle, joking: "We provide this service for everyone. We do personalised tours everywhere."
Other guests included in the series were Canadian singer Michael Buble, Eugene's daughter and fellow Schitt's Creek actor Sarah Levy, K-pop boy band NOWZ and former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid.
Meghan Markle celebrates her career milestone
Meghan was clearly ecstatic after receiving her own Emmy nomination, taking to Instagram to share her "huge congratulations" to those who had worked on the programme.
She wrote: "A huge congratulations to the amazing crew, producers, and team who worked on ‘With Love, Meghan’ on @netflix. We are nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Lifestyle Series!"
The show ranked 1,218th in the streamer's list of most popular shows and is not returning for a third season, though it did air a Christmas special.
HELLO!'s senior editor Jack Malvern commented: "It is a bit like someone announcing that they own a Lamborghini while omitting to mention they mean a tractor rather than a hypercar.
"With Love, Meghan has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy, the dowdier cousin of the Primetime Emmys that isn't televised, takes place in an auditorium half the size and has a mixed record of attracting global stars. Jennifer Hudson was the only attendee last year who would be recognisable on the world stage."
