Queen Camilla sported a very casual look as she enjoyed a family shopping trip into town this week.

The royal, 79, was seen wearing jeans, a V-neck jumper and a parka jacket during a visit to Ballater village with her sister Annabel Elliot, 77, her daughter Laura Lopes, 48, and her granddaughter Eliza, who is 18.

She clearly enjoyed some retail therapy and was seen carrying two shopping bags and a paper envelope after visiting cashmere shop KT Boutique and a bookshop called AB Yule.

The village of Ballater is only a short drive away from Balmoral, where Camilla and King Charles will be spending the summer holidays.

A window shopping trip to Ballater seems to have become an annual tradition for the royal, as she joined Laura and Eliza for a similar day out in 2025.

Tom Parker Bowles and Laura Lopes are Camilla's children from her marriage to her first husband, Andrew Parker Bowles.

The Queen was also joined by her 16-year-old twin grandsons Gus and Harry Lopes for the day out.

Together with her grandson Freddy Parker Bowles, they acted as Pages of Honour at the Coronation in 2023.

The names of all five grandchildren – Eliza, Freddy, Lola, Gus, and Harry – were famously embroidered in gold thread on Camilla's white coronation gown.

Meanwhile, Eliza, 18, was a flower girl at Prince William and Kate's wedding in 2011 and joined them on the balcony.

Charles was welcomed by a guard of honour provided by Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland outside the gates of Balmoral, Aberdeenshire, on Tuesday.

He met the pony, Corporal Cruachan IV – mascot of The Royal Regiment of Scotland – who was on parade with his handler, Corporal Rory Stewart.

Following the ceremony, the King met members of the public who had gathered near the gates to see him.
