Miley Cyrus sparked major marriage speculation on Friday after her mother, Tish Cyrus, appeared to refer to fiancé Maxx Morando as the singer’s "husband” during her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.
The 'Flowers' hitmaker, 33, was honored with the 2,845th star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame and celebrated the milestone surrounded by family, friends and famous supporters in Los Angeles.
During the glitzy ceremony, Miley posed for photos beside her new star, which is located directly across from the famed Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. She was joined by her mother Tish and older sister Brandi Cyrus for a series of family snaps before one unexpected moment quickly caught fans' attention.
As photographers prepared for another photo, Tish appeared to call out: "We're gonna bring the husband."
Both Miley and Tish then motioned for Maxx, 27, to step into the frame. The musician happily joined the Grammy winner before leaning in to place a sweet kiss on her cheek as cameras captured the affectionate moment.
The seemingly casual comment instantly fueled rumors that the couple may have secretly tied the knot. While Miley and Maxx confirmed their engagement late last year, neither has publicly announced a wedding.
The pair first began dating in 2021 after reportedly meeting on a blind date and have largely kept their romance out of the spotlight. However, they have made occasional public appearances together over the years, including at the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special in March.
Miley has previously opened up about their relationship and six-year age gap, telling Harper's Bazaar in 2024 that Maxx "inspires" her.
"He's very similar to me. We just don't take life too seriously," she said at the time.
The singer also joked about their different upbringings, explaining: "He grew up with a laptop. I had a desktop computer that I shared with my brothers and sisters."
Late last year, engagement rumors swirled after Miley debuted a sparkling diamond ring on her left hand while attending the premiere of Avatar: Fire And Ash with Maxx. Reports later confirmed the pair were engaged, with the eye-catching ring estimated to be worth around $150,000.
Friday's ceremony marked another major milestone for Miley, who delivered an emotional speech while accepting her star.
"What's so special to me about this star is that it's an accumulation of devotion," she told the crowd.
