Katy Perry is set to perform at the 2026 FIFA World Cup opening ceremonies on Friday, June 12 in Los Angeles. Ahead of the big night, the "Teenage Dream" singer teased her performance.
Katy, 41, is reportedly performing one of her favorite tunes "off of one" of her records, she told People on June 8. Outside of preparing for the World Cup opening ceremonies, the "California Girls" singer has been flaunting her bikini body.

In July 2024, Katy enjoyed a sunny vacation in St. Tropez with her ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom and their daughter Daisy Dove, five. The singer stunned in a black and white bikini alongside her lookalike daughter.
The vacation was about six months before Katy and Orlando ended their almost 10-year relationship.

In 2017, just after Katy started dating Orlando, she soaked up the sun in Miami. The "I Kissed A Girl" singer was spotted in a yellow and green tie-dye swimsuit as she lounged on a beach chair. Katy accessorized her look with silver necklaces, a silver cuffed bracelet, and a pair of classic black sunglasses.

At the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards, Katy bared her abs. She wore a black bikini under a very see-through, black mesh dress with whimsical red ties on the side and dark black sunglasses.
The songstress presented the Song of the Year award to SZA for her hit single "Kill Bill."

Two years before she released her iconic album, Teenage Dream, Katy performed in a bedazzled bikini top at the V Festival in the United Kingdom. Her retro look would become a staple of her future tours.

Katy released her third studio album, Teenage Dream, in 2010 and shattered music industry milestones. She became the first female artist to produce five number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent a record-breaking 69 weeks inside the Hot 100's top 10.
Aside from the music records, it also launched Katy's retro style. The "Firework" singer often wore bright colored wigs and high waisted bikini bottoms while performing on tour.

In August 2024, Katy and Orlando jumped off of a flying helicopter into the ocean. The "California Gurls" singer donned no gear save for her bright orange bikini, and one photo sees her holding hands with her then-fiancé right after jumping off of the edge of the helicopter, while another taken from far away put into perspective their distance from the water.

On July 4, 2024, Katy posted to Instagram to celebrate America's independence. She posed like Rosie the Riveter in a very revealing American flag bikini with her hair tied up in a scarf, captioning the photo: "BB UR A FIREWORK and speaking of work, WOMAN'S WORLD IS GOING TO WORK IN ONE WEEK HAPPY 4TH."

The pop star released the second single off her Lifetimes album in August 2024 and celebrated the news with a collection of photos on the beach from her trip, posing in a tiny string bikini.
