Gwen Stefani shared insight into family life on her $4 million Oklahoma farm that she shares with her husband, country star Blake Shelton, and revealed that the couple's newfound gardening hobby had paid off in spades.
The No Doubt singer took to Instagram to share a video of herself and Blake making their way around the property and checking on their plants, before they returned inside to arrange the stunning flowers they had picked from their garden.
"Back in Oklahoma where our tomatoes are ripe, the zinnias are giant, and my dahlias are almost ready!!" Gwen wrote in the caption.
The video began with a clip of her running through a sunflower patch, before she joined Blake in picking flowers down by their creek. The pair then made their way to their veggie patch, where Gwen exclaimed in excitement over how large their tomatoes had grown.
Blake and Gwen returned to their home and arranged the flowers in the foyer and kitchen, as her youngest son, Apollo, made a brief appearance to inspect their work. The family's eclectic style was on full display in their home, with the camera panning to the blue floral wallpaper, the bold zebra-print rug and stunning arched windows.
Blake bought the Oklahoma land around 2015 and has steadily built it up to be a working farm, where the couple raise animals and grow a myriad of plants. They even married on the property in 2021 in a chapel on the grounds. The hideaway features 1,300 acres of land, four bedrooms, a horse barn and several ponds.
The duo currently split their time between Oklahoma and Los Angeles, where they own a $14 million mansion in Encino. They are kept busy raising her three boys, Kingston, 20, Zuma, 17, and Apollo, 12, whom Gwen shares with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale.
Blake and Gwen got serious about their gardening hobby in March, with the "Ol' Red" singer sharing on social media that they planned to expand their vegetable patch.
"It's getting close to springtime, and I've got the old orange Kubota out here…This year we decided we're going to do some actual professional gardening, farming-type stuff out here," he said in the video. "Me and my wife – her name's Gwen – we were out here putting this plastic out yesterday…just she and I, nobody else."
"But we're gonna plant vegetables in here to keep the weeds out. We're gonna poke holes in [the plastic] and put tomatoes and peppers and squash and cucumbers. I don't eat any vegetables in the first place, but it's fun."
"We're doing it...we're really doing it this year...@gwenstefani and I are stepping it up!!!!" he wrote in the caption. The couple first met while working as judges on The Voice in 2014, and began dating after their respective divorces – Gwen from Gavin, and Blake from his fellow country star Miranda Lambert.
