Naomi Watts' daughter Kai Schreiber graced the runway for Iris van Herpen during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week on July 6.
The 17-year-old made a striking appearance on the catwalk as she modelled a daring look. Kai wore a semi-sheer gown that featured an asymmetric design with a tulle skirt. The garment was embellished with swirling pearl detailing that perfectly matched the sculptural headpieces that curved over Kai's face.
The rising model's blonde locks were left down in a sleek, straight style while her complexion was enhanced by a metallic, shimmery base and nude lip.
Following the show, Kai took to Instagram to thank the fashion house for the show. "I opened @irisvanherpen!!! Ty all," she wrote alongside a photograph.
Kai Schreiber's modelling career
Naomi's daughter is no stranger to the high fashion scene as she made her runway debut for Valentino during Paris Fashion Week in March. The model, who is represented by IMG, graced the catwalk in a snake-print knitted mini dress adorned with feathered plumes on the neckline.
During New York Fashion Week in September 2025, she graced the runways for Michael Kors, Calvin Klein, and Jason Wu before jetting off to Milan to walk for Fendi, Max Mara, Moschino, The Attico, and more. Kai also attended Paris Fashion Week in October 2025, starring in shows for Mugler, Isabel Marant, and Valentino. "What an incredible season. I am immensely and eternally grateful for everyone who put work in to make this beautiful season possible for me. I had so much fun and I love you all," she wrote on Instagram after the end of the spring/summer fashion season.
Kai opened up about her career with Interview Magazine back in June last year. "I always wanted to grow up and be a beautiful, glamorous, influential woman, like Marilyn [Monroe]," she explained. "I want to be a supermodel. Period. I've been practicing my walks in the kitchen for years; my mom can show you all the videos I forced her to film. Struggling with gender identity from a young age most likely had something to do with it."
Kai Schreiber's pronouns
During an interview with Variety, Lieve Schreiber discussed his daughter's personal identity. "Kai was always who Kai is," he shared. "But I suppose the most profound moment was her asking us to change her pronouns. To be honest with you, it didn't feel like that big of a deal to me only because Kai had been so feminine for so long."
"This isn't just about representing the trans community," he added. "This is actually a community of people who don't have great resources, who don't have access to help, who aren't being protected and looked after by their families."
