One VIP guest at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's extravagant Madison Square Garden wedding is unhappy about a report claiming a shortage of seats and champagne.
Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt's wife, Tavia Hunt, took to social media to slam "false" rumors that the ceremony and reception, estimated to cost $20 million, were "slightly chaotic."
The report quoted alleged guests, one of whom claimed there were only 150 seats at the wedding for the couple's 1,000-strong guest list, and another said that "the champagne ran out really early."
It was also alleged that Taylor and Travis opted for a buffet, with A-list guests including Julia Roberts having to "stand in line" for food.
The report was rehashed in an Instagram post by podcaster Zack Peter, prompting Tavia to set the record straight in the comments.
"This is such a false narrative," the 54-year-old wrote. "They did not run out of champagne. There were not long lines. Every single person was seated for the ceremony."
She continued: "The vows were spectacular — beautiful, heartfelt, and absolutely perfect. It could not have been a more fabulous experience."
Tavia added: "And frankly, it is inappropriate to say things like this when you clearly don't know what you're talking about. That is hearsay — not truth."
Inside Taylor and Travis' multi-day wedding
The couple's star-studded nuptials were a multi-day event that kicked off on Thursday, July 2, with a rehearsal dinner at MSG for 100 of their closest friends and family.
They tied the knot at the famed arena on Friday, July 3, and their marriage was confirmed when MSG's famous façade illuminated with bright pink "JUST&T MARRIED!" signs.
Adam Sandler officiated the wedding. The couple opted against a traditional bridal party. Instead, the bride's brother, Austin Swift, served as her Man of Honor, while the groom's brother, Jason Kelce, was his Best Man.
The newlyweds both wore custom Dior creations designed by the French fashion house's newly appointed creative director, Jonathan Anderson, as revealed by the singer's publicist after the couple said, 'I do.'
"The bride and groom's wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture," Tree Paine confirmed in a release, obtained by HELLO!
"They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women's, Men's and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom."
It added: "This is the designer's first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity."
Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.
Following the couple's nuptials, Jonathan reflected on collaborating with Taylor on her haute couture gown.
"It was a joy to work with her. We became very good friends," Jonathan told WWD. "It's an emotional thing doing someone's wedding."
Details about Taylor and Travis' wedding have been revealed by some of the star-studded guest list, which included Jennifer Lopez, Brad Pitt, Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper.
AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron, who worked closely with Taylor to release The Eras Tour concert movie in theaters, shared a detailed description of the wedding before later deleting the post, but not before it was screengrabbed by fans.
"It did not look like Madison Square Garden. Immediately upon entry, everything… floors, walls, ceilings… was draped in peach and white. Large blown up pictures of Taylor and Travis at each age, year by year from one year-old to late teenager-hood, were on display," he said.
He added that "a small portion of MSG was cordoned off" and "magically, someone created an outdoor garden at a lush countryside retreat.
