Madonna is one proud parent! The award-winning singer was in a reflective mood on August 11, as she paid a heartfelt tribute to her oldest son Rocco Ritchie on his 26th birthday.
The Vogue hitmaker took to Instagram to share several posts dedicated to Rocco, including a collage of unseen pictures of the artist from over the years.
These included pictures of Rocco with his mom, one of him at his art exhibition and another of him DJ'ing. Madonna also shared footage of Rocco flying in a helicopter with her, alongside the caption: "Happy Birthday Rocco!! Life with you is one adventure after the next. Love you in this life and all the others."
© InstagramThe star ended the trio of posts with a throwback picture of her holding Rocco as a little boy, referencing the sweet nickname she calls him: Rockstar. "Another trip around the sun... Happy birthday, Rockstar."
Madonna shares Rocco with ex-husband Guy Ritchie and is also mom to five other children. She shares oldest daughter Lourdes Leon with ex Carlos Leon, and went on to adopt four children from Malawi - David Banda, 20, Mercy James, 20, and twins Stella and Estere, 13.
© InstagramIt's been an exciting year for Rocco - a talented artist - who has spent the past six months abroad creating art. He shared an update on social media in July, sharing a picture of himself painting a portrait in vibrant shades of red.
"I spent the past six months in Mexico, Spain and Portugal, where I made a body of new paintings and a handful of sculptures. Very excited to be exhibiting with @pierre_augustin_rose this October in Paris," he wrote.
© InstagramRocco first started out as an artist under the pseudonym "Maison Rhed". Back in April, the artist held an exhibition in London. The event saw his parents reunite in public for the first time in 15 years. The former couple tied the knot in 2000, just a few months after welcoming their son. Madonna filed for divorce in October 2008.

"However, I am proud to be who I am, but I’m even prouder to have both of my parents together in one room supporting me. The work should speak for itself, that's why the show was called 'Talk Is Cheap'."
