Shania Twain joined the millions of people across Europe who witnessed the historic 2026 solar eclipse on August 12.
It's been two decades since Europe saw the rare occurrence.
The star took to social media to share a video of herself rocking solar eclipse glasses and she enthusiastically captioned the post: "Let's go eclipse!!"
In the clip, she expressed her excitement about the momentous day, revealing: "Hello my friends, I am watching the solar eclipse. This is our very special 2026 solar eclipse. I'm in Switzerland and I'm having a wonderful time out here on the terrace watching this historic moment."
She concluded: "So, if you guys are watching it too, be careful – wear these glasses. I think they actually look really great. They're quite fashionable. Enjoy the eclipse."
Fans loved her take and flocked to the comments. One person commented: "Man! I feel like watching an eclipse!"
A second fan added: "That's incredible, Shania!!! What a view! Unfortunately, the solar eclipse won't be visible from where I live! Enjoy it!"
A third follower continued: "I'm jealous of the suuuuuun," while another fan commented: "I love you so much, we got a cloud in the middle."
Shania's recent time off
This past week, Shania has been relaxing and recharging, and she captioned another post of herself horseback riding, writing: "Taking a moment to rest at home in Switzerland after a crazy couple of months!"
It surely has been a busy quarter for the singer, being that she released her latest album Little Miss Twain on July 27.
In another post, the entertainer was spotted holding a vinyl of her new record and captioned the picture: "Seeing Little Miss Twain out in the world this weekend has been one of those 'pinch me' moments."
The entertainer continued: "After spending so much time writing, recording, and dreaming up this album, there's nothing quite like finally holding it in your hands... and knowing it's now in yours too. Thank you for making this release week so special!!"
The star teased in another picture online: "Will there be live shows next year? Hmmmmmm I sure hope so!"
The singer reflected on just how deeply personal her latest project is to her, expressing to Billboard: "It brings me a lot of joy to share that part of me. Shania Twain was born out of this little singer who comes from somewhere that nobody really knows anything about."
