Shania Twain is surely feeling all the feels with the release of her seventh studio album, Little Miss Twain.
The new LP dropped on July 24, four years after the release of her last record, 2022's Queen of Me. The genre-spanning record is a deeply personal one for the country-pop star, who not only explores more personal themes, but also more personal collaborators.
Along with the likes of friends like Tanya Tucker and the War and Treaty, the singer, 60, also recruited the help of her ultra-private son, Eja Lange, himself a music producer. Shania shares Eja with her first husband, producer Robert "Mutt" Lange, to whom she was married from 1993 to 2010.
© InstagramTo celebrate the album's release, Shania shared several behind-the-scenes videos from the making of the record, taken by her husband Frédéric Thiébaud, including a clip of Eja, 24, in the music studio, one of the first times she's shared a glimpse of him in years, which you can watch above.
Alongside her post, the "You're Still the One" singer penned a lengthy caption, which read in part: "Little Miss Twain and those formative years of my life were just a distant private memory until recently and now it's a shared story. The same as the album, it was mine and now 'Little Miss Twain' is ours!"
"I'm full of anxiety and excitement at the response but even if you find one lyric that speaks to you or makes you feel something I'll be happy," she continued. "The emotional journey on this album was a true rollercoaster and there were moments where I felt like I was sitting with my younger self while my mother looked over me."
