Madonna is sharing some outtakes from her latest birthday celebration in Europe.
The Queen of Pop turned 68 on August 16, and took to Instagram with a collection of photos documenting the festivities in Greece over the weekend.
"It's My Birthday! Eat, Pray, Love,Drink, Dance, Break plates, Feed Cats!! Thank you G*D!" she captioned the photo set, which kicked off with a shot of her in her birthday fit, a fantastically ornate dress from Dolce & Gabbana covered in gold appliqués and satin roses, with a floral headpiece to match.
In more photos, she showed off her second outfit, a semi-sheer white dress with peekaboo lace detailing, paired with gold chains, a chunky white belt, and a matching shawl and parasol.
The photos captured the mirth of the Greek birthday parties, which included dancing, parties by the beach, dinners, even playing with the local alley cats, topped off with her grand heart-shaped cake featuring a giant eye.
Madonna was joined by her boyfriend Akeem Morris, 30, plus five of her six kids. The actress shares eldest daughter Lourdes Leon, 29, with ex Carlos Leon, and eldest son Rocco Ritchie, 26, with ex-husband Guy Ritchie. She adopted son David Banda, 20, daughter "Chifundo" Mercy James, also 20, and twin daughters Stella and Estere, 13, from Malawi.
All her kids except David were pictured at the birthday, although it wasn't clear whether the musician was absent altogether or simply behind the camera.
Fans loved catching a glimpse of the icon's celebrations, especially on the heels of the nominations for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards being announced on the same day. Madonna leads all nominees with 11, all for her acclaimed latest album Confessions II.
"HBD and congrats on the VMA nominations!!" one fan enthused, with another saying: "Greece looks good on you." A third added: "Happy birthday, Queen! You deserve every happiness and all the flowers you receive."
The record, a sequel to Madonna's 2005 album Confessions on a Dance Floor, has received unanimous praise upon release, with many seeing it as the singer's best album since its 2005 prequel. It also became her milestone 10th number one album in the United States.
Overall, August is a big month for the Ciccone family! Not only did Madonna celebrate her own birthday, but her youngest daughters will soon be turning 14 come August 24. And Rocco marked his own big day just five days before his mom's.
The "Bring Your Love" hitmaker paid tribute to her son with a collection of photos of him over the years, capturing various stages in his life and career, from his time as a DJ to his current work as a model and primarily an artist.
"Happy Birthday Rocco!! Life with you is one adventure after the next. Love you in this life and all the others," she gushed alongside the photos. She then added with a shot of herself cradling him in her arms as a baby. "Another trip around the sun... Happy birthday, Rockstar."
