Madonna had fans doing a double take when she shared photos of her youthful new look.
Just weeks after her 68th birthday, the singer showed off her incredibly smooth face, leaving many of her fans admitting they didn't "even recognize her."
The "Material Girl" singer looked unrecognizable in several pics shared on Instagram on Monday, sporting big, bouncy hair and natural makeup centered on a radiant complexion with a smattering of freckles across the bridge of her nose.
One photo showed Madonna wearing large spectacles, a nude-colored bodysuit with a black under-bust corset, and wild hair.
Another showed her fixing her earring in a mirror while wearing a white blouse, with her hair in an 80s-style blow-dry.

Her followers were in disbelief over her radical appearance change, with one commenting: "Sorry, but a few of those pics I wouldn't even recognize her."

It's not the first time Madonna has shared a different side of herself on social media. While she is no stranger to using filters on her photos, she shared a glimpse of her "real" face in June.

Madonna still looked younger than her years but appeared more natural than her usually heavily filtered Instagram photos, which often feature her with a completely smooth and tight visage.

Inside Madonna's 68th birthday
Madonna celebrated her 68th birthday on August 16 with her children in Greece.
"It's My Birthday! Eat, Pray, Love,Drink, Dance, Break plates, Feed Cats!! Thank you G*D!" she captioned several photos, which kicked off with a shot of her in her birthday fit, a fantastically ornate dress from Dolce & Gabbana covered in gold appliqués and satin roses, with a floral headpiece to match.

The photos captured the mirth of the Greek birthday parties, which included dancing, beach parties, dinners, and even playing with the local alley cats, topped off with her grand heart-shaped cake featuring a giant eye.
