Kelsey Grammer delivered a family update during a candid appearance on LBC’s Nick Ferrari at Breakfast, when he was quizzed about becoming a dad again at the age of 71.
The star opened up about his personal life, confirming that he is ready to welcome another baby with his wife, Kayte Walsh, despite his youngest not turning one until October 2026.
When asked by host Nick Ferrari about whispers surrounding his expanding family, Kelsey addressed the news head-on.
"It is true," he revealed. "Having children is one of the great, great gifts of my life.
© FilmMagic,"Even from the moment of birth, there's six people in a room, and suddenly there's seven people in a room. And everybody's arms are open and saying, 'Welcome!' You know, it's an amazing thing. It's such a great gift, and I have the wherewithal and the desire to make it a good world for them."
He added: "I'm a far more available dad. In real time, I'm in the room with the kids, and that's great."

He says this keeps him grounded so that he can embrace every milestone with his younger family.

© Getty ImagesSpeaking at the Giving A Smile Foundation's inaugural gala shortly after the birth of his seventh child, Kelsey said it was "absolutely wonderful" having a newborn at his age.
"You forget what a blessing it is to have a small child in your life," he said, noting that when he looks at his "beautiful wife" and their four children, he is confident life "does not get better."

"Things are less important than you think they are when you're younger, and some things are more important, like quality time with the kids, that's something that's really important," he shared.
Kelsey added: "When you're a young man, you try to carve out your niche, you know, your place where you can take care of enough family and become the man you want to be, but that can be pretty time consuming."
