Three's Company launched the careers of several actors who went on to have legendary careers. From John Ritter to Suzanne Somers, the sitcom's legacy still lives on today.
But what happened to John's co-star, Priscilla Barnes, who starred on Three's Company as Terri Alden in seasons six and eight of the sitcom? Now in her 70s, the actress is still enjoying the spotlight.

Priscilla Barnes' acting career after Three's Company
The actress was in her late 20s when she joined Three's Company after both Jenilee Harrison and Suzanne Somers left the sitcom. During a 1998 interview on the E! True Hollywood Story, Priscilla said that her time on the sitcom was the "three worst years" of her life, sharing that the tension between cast members made her "uncomfortable."
But, she persevered and kept acting. After Three's Company, Priscilla appeared in episodes of shows like Murder, She Wrote, She's the Sheriff, and Highway to Heaven. In 1989, the actress starred in the James Bond film License to Kill and in 1995's The Crossing Guard with Jack Nicholson.

Inside the actress's friendship with John Ritter
Priscilla met John on the set of Three's Company and the two quickly became friends. After John suddenly passed away in 2003, Priscilla remembered the beloved actor.
"John was a goofball," she told People in May 2023. "He was like that third-grader that if they liked a girl – or just had any girl in the room – they'd do anything to get her attention, make her laugh, make her feel comfortable."

Priscilla worked with another Ritter after Three's Company
In 1999, 15 years after Three's Company wrapped, Priscilla acted alongside John's oldest son Jason Ritter in the film Mumford. "Jason and I had done a film together, a movie called Mumford, but he was 19 years old and I hadn't seen him since he was five and screaming in the dressing room before our show," the actress told People. "That was a pleasure."

Priscilla's comeback in the mid-2000s
While Priscilla continued to act, she didn't land another major role until 2014. The actress starred in the hit comedy-drama Jane the Virgin alongside Gina Rodriguez and Justin Baldoni as Magda, the mother of Petra, who was played by Yael Grobglas. She appeared in 41 episodes until the series ended in 2019.

Priscilla is a funny woman
Off screen, Priscilla is a touring stand-up comedian. In her 70s, the actress is still touring today. Fans of her from Three's Company all the way to Jane the Virgin support Priscilla on her comedy journey.
After she posted a video of her stand-up to Instagram, fans flooded the comments. One person wrote: "Awesome, love to see you up on stage," while another added: "I need you to travel close to me. I'd love to come see you!"
