The NCIS: New Orleans actor, Scott Bakula, turned 72 on Friday, October 9 and celebrated with his very famous wife

Scott was married before meeting Chelsea

Scott tied the knot with Krista Neumann in 1981, years before he made his TV debut. While they were married, Scott and Krista welcomed two children – Chelsy, 38, and Cody, 35. The actor divorced Krista in 1995.

Scott and Chelsea's relationship

Scott and Chelsea met in 1993 while he was still married. The two were filming the TV movie A Passion to Kill. After Scott's first marriage ended, he and Chelsea started dating. And they went on to date for 15 years before saying "I do" in 2009.

The couple's children

While they didn't marry until 2009, Scott and Chelsea grew their family in 1995 when they welcomed their son Wil. A few years later, Chelsea gave birth to their second son, Owen.

In 2023, Chelsea celebrated Wil's 28th birthday on Instagram, writing: "Happy Birthday Wil! '28 years of knowing how has taught you what you’re doing now!'"

Chelsea's turn on a hit '80s show

Chelsea's career took off in 1980 when she starred in the musical TV show, Solid Gold, as a dancer. The hit show was originally hosted by Dionne Warwick, who left after one year to focus on her music career.

Scott and Chelsea starred in the same TV show

After appearing in the 1987 film adaptation of Masters of the Universe, Chelsea continued acting in small roles on shows like Cold Case and Without a Trace. But, she joined her husband on screen in 2017 when she landed a role on NCIS: New Orleans.

Chelsea starred as Rita Devereaux, an assistant district attorney, alongside Scott's Dwayne Pride. On screen, the couple played romantic interests, with their characters tying the knot in the series finale.
