Who did you have tacked to your bedroom wall or inside your wardrobe door? Whether you carefully snipped off a magazine cover shot in the '70s, saved your pennies for an A3 poster in the '90s, or strolled down to HMV for their latest release in the '00s, there's no doubt that teen heartthrobs are a formative moment for many adolescents, and generally seen as a rite of passage.

But if, like many of us, those dreams of an '80s dreamboat or rebellious vampire knocking at your door didn't come true (what can we say, it's a timeless fantasy) you might be interested to find out who they did end up tying the knot with.

Brat Pack heartthrob Rob Lowe starred in '80s hits like St Elmo's Fire, The Outsiders and Youngblood. But his most frequent role was surely as the object of teen fantasies throughout the decade.

Fans will be happy (or perhaps crushed) to find out that Rob has been married to wife Sheryl Berkoff since 1991. They met on a blind date in 1983, but only started dating six years later. Now, they're enjoying married life and parenting their two children.

John Stamos was a beloved face of the early '80s with his role on General Hospital, but is best known for almost a decade of work as Uncle Jesse in Full House. 

His signature grin seared him on teens' hearts across the globe, and surely helped win the heart of his now-wife, Caitlin McHugh. John was previously married to Rebecca Romijn between 1998 and 2005. He tied the knot with Caitlin in 2018 and the couple welcomed son Billy the same year.

Luke Perry's trademark as a brooding bad-boy onscreen had teens across the globe hoping to break through that tough persona. But only a few were lucky enough to be loved by the actor in real life.

Luke tied the knot with actress Rachel Sharp in 1993, welcoming children Sophie and Jack during their marriage. The couple separated in 2003 and Luke appeared with his fiancée, actress Wendy Bauer, on the red carpet in 2017. Luke sadly passed away in 2019 following a stroke.

Geena Davis is one of the '80s and '90s favourite leading ladies and has some iconic roles to her name. From A League of Their Own and Beetlejuice, to earlier roles in Tootsie and Buffalo Bill, Geena is a beloved face onscreen.

Geena has been married four times, but her most high profile marriage is likely that to her two-time onscreen love Jeff Goldblum. The mother of three was most recently married to plastic surgeon Reza Jarrahy from 2001 - 2021.

Charlie Sheen was one of the '80s defining heartthrobs and has been married three times

Charlie Sheen has something of a lady's man reputation, but it's unsurprising considering many '80s teens were desperate to swap places with Jennifer Grey in Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

The father-of-five has been married three times, first to Donna Peele, next to Denise Richards and most recently to real estate investor Brooke Mueller. Now, he's reportedly single and discussed many of his past struggles in his 2025 Netflix documentary aka Charlie Sheen.

She was married to Tim Belusko between 2013 and 2016. Following their separation, she married film producer Jensen Karp with whom she shares two children, Adler and Keaton.
