Spain's Princess Letizia was looking especially summery as she accompanied her husband Crown Prince Felipe to the opening of a photography exhibition in Madrid on Wednesday.
The slender brunette, who last month celebrated the fifth anniversary of her May 22 wedding to the heir to the Spanish throne, has earned a reputation in her homeland for the chic suits and smartly tailored dresses she favours for official duties. For the inauguration ceremony of PhotoEspaña in the capital's botanical gardens she'd chosen a slightly more casual pink and white print number, however, decorated with a swirling outsize paisley pattern.
PhotoEspaña is an annual event comprising 74 exhibitions scattered over 64 sites, and is one of the largest of its kind in the world. This year it runs until July 26 and features the work of numerous internationally renowned photographers, including American celebrity snapper Annie Leibovitz.
