Supermodel Gisele Bundchen, 30, and her American footballer husband Tom Brady are in the process of building a $20 million mega-mansion.

And with 22,000 square-feet to spare, the palatial pad will boast eight bedrooms, a lift, lagoon-shaped pool, wine cellar, parking for six cars, weights rooms and a covered bridge connecting two buildings.

The plot - which sits 3.75 acres high in the hills of Brentwood, California – dwarfs surrouding properties, including the mansions belonging to Arnold Schwarzenegger and Heidi Klum.

Thirty-year-old New England Patriots player Tom bought the plot for $11 million before he exchanged vows with former Victoria's Secret Angel Gisele.

The couple tied the knot in February 2009 and welcomed their first child together, son Benjamin, in December.
