Most people wouldn't recognise her name or her face, but once she speaks Nancy Cartwright's voice is strangely familiar. The petite blonde has provided the voice for one of America's best known - animated characters - Bart Simpson - for the past two decades.
Fifty-one-year-old Nancy, who originally auditioned for the part of Bart's sister Lisa in The Simpsons, was in the spotlight this week at an unveiling ceremony for a set of US postage stamps bearing the likeness of characters from the show.
Over one billion stamps have been issued to mark the 20th anniversary of the animated series. It's the first time a TV programme has been the sole subject of a postal issue in the United States.
"We are emotionally moved by the Postal Service selecting us rather than making the lazy choice of someone who has benefited society," joked the show's executive producer
