Bristol Palin's ex-fiancé Levi Johnston is set to run for Mayor of the Alaskan town of Wasilla - a role that Sarah Palin held between 1996 and 2002.
His campaign will be followed by a film crew, who will roll the cameras over its duration to create a 'docu-soap' entitled Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor's Office.
The creators of the show stated: "Levi thinks he can take the office by representing the real citizens of Wasilla. If elected, Levi promises to serve his full term."
They describe him as "controversial, headline making, matinee idol [and] handsome" and reveal that he "will give us a real inside look into who he is as a father, a skilled hunter, an avid dirt biker, and of course his journey down the road of small town politics - right after he gets his high school diploma."
They added that the show would allow a "no-holds-barred" look into Levi's "tumultuous" life.
It is true that the 20-year-old's life has been somewhat hectic lately - Bristol ended their relationship last month just weeks after announcing their re-engagement when he confessed to her that he may have fathered a baby with another girl.
