Ariana Grande and her boyfriend, Ethan Slater, have reportedly called time on their relationship.
The Wicked co-stars dated for nearly three years after they met on the set of the first movie adaptation in December 2022. At the time, Ethan was married to childhood sweetheart Lilly Jay, and the pair had welcomed a son in August 2022.
He was first romantically linked to Ariana in July 2023, after the singer filed for divorce from her then-husband, Dalton Gomez, and they went Instagram official in November 2024.
However, according to multiple reports, Ariana and Ethan secretly "split several months ago."
Despite the breakup, Ariana and Ethan remain friends and are very supportive of one another, according to People.
Ariana is reportedly in great spirits and focusing on her work, having kicked off her Eternal Sunshine tour on June 6. She is also getting ready to release her new album, Petal, on July 31.

In 2024, he praised Ariana's performance as Glinda, telling GQ: "I'm just really, really proud of Ari and the work she's done on this. She's poured herself into it."
He added: "I'm really proud that I got to be there for that part of it, and I'm really excited to be there for this next step of it when the world gets to see the amazing thing that she did."

Ariana is just as supportive, and in March, she expressed her pride for Ethan after his final performance in the off-Broadway play Marcel on the Train, which he co-wrote and starred in.
"Congratulations on a beautiful run of this very beautiful show," she wrote on her Instagram Stories, along with a butterfly emoji and two outlines of hearts. "So very proud."

"He's always adorable, and he's so amazing in this film — he's such an amazing person," she told Entertainment Tonight. "I'm so happy people are getting to know him. My heart is very happy."
Last year, there were reports that Ariana and Ethan had broken up, fueled even more when Ethan appeared on The Today Show on November 21, 2025.
