Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon could be replaced by cabaret legend Liza Minnelli in a future series, it has been reported.
BBC executives are apparently due to meet with 31-year-old Alesha next week to discuss her future on the panel.
Sources say that 63-year-old entertainer Liza would be a "real coup" for the show if the plan to hire her went ahead.
"Alesha got off to a very shaky start but did improve. Despite this, her future is believed to be hanging by a thread," the source continues.
“Liza has international appeal and real star billing. She is a singer and dancer, and Hollywood through and through.
“Her experience in the showbiz industry would be a real coup – plus she has the personality to match."
A BBC spokesperson has not yet been available for comment.
