Former White House intern Monica Lewinsky is embarking on a new career path – that of a TV presenter.
The Fox network, the home of popular programmes from American Idol to The Simpsons has enlisted the handbag designer to host the upcoming reality series Mr Personality.
On the light-hearted dating show, which airs on US TV beginning on April 21, female contestants are wooed by a pool of men in hopes of finding a perfect match. And the catch? The bachelors must rely solely on their personalities to captivate their potential girlfriends, as their looks will remain hidden.
Monica says that the network's success with other reality TV shows, such as the ratings hit Joe Millionaire, led to her decision to join the programme. "Since Fox is the network that has had the greatest success with this genre, I was very excited when they approached me to host the show. It sounds like good fun," she said in a statement.
