Hugh Grant, Elle Macpherson and Stella McCartney led the list stars from the world of film and fashion who flocked to the Albert Hall on Thursday for a charity performance by Cirque du Soleil.

Love, Actually actor Hugh was handsome as ever for the black-tie affair, donning a tuxedo as he mingled with fellow celebs, including film star Kristin Scott Thomas, singer Myleene Kass and Mr Bean comedian Rowan Atkinson.

Socialite Tim Jefferies, meanwhile, arrived with his girlfriend, heiress Alexandra Miller, younger sister of Marie Chantal of Greece.

The couple, who have been dating since last spring, have gradually been going more public with their romance, stepping out last week for pal Jemima Khan's 30th birthday bash.
