Legendary singer Donna Summer has died at the age of 63.
Her passing comes after she lost a long battle with cancer.
Donna was best known for her sensual Seventies disco classics like Love To Love You Baby.
Her influence inspired later generations of singers including pop superstar Beyonce who sampled the song on her hit Naughty Girl.
Tributes for the late star have flooded in via Twitter.
Songstress Natasha Bedingfield wrote: "She was so incredible. Her and her family are some of the most beautiful people."
And soul diva Beverly Knight echoed her sentiments, saying she was "crushed" by the news.
"I am so saddened, she epitomised an era," she added.
Donna is likely to be honoured on Thursday evening as some of the biggest names in music gather at the Ivor Novello awards.
