Wearing a floor-length red gown with transparent sleeves and sequin trim, Prince Edward's wife looked right at home rubbing shoulders with the stars, including Rolling Stone Bill Wyman, at the Dyslexia Institute Awards gala.

But Sophie, who is patron of the educational charity, wasn't the only guest wearing a head-turning ensemble at the star-studded soiree. Veteran comedian Ronnie Corbett and race ace Jackie Stewart, who were spotted chatting with the royal mother-of-one, both wore lively tartan trousers to the black-tie bash.

The Two Ronnies star was on hand to present Sir Jackie, diagnosed with dyslexia when he was in his 40s, with an award.
