All their friends are doing it, but when will it be William and Kate's turn?
Following their recent trip to Devon for the marriage of close friends Emilia D'Erlanger and David Jardine-Paterson, the Prince and his girlfriend Kate Middleton were together at another wedding at the weekend.
And this time the venue was the place they first fell in love – St Andrews University in Scotland – where they watched their former housemate Oli Baker tie the knot with Mel Nicholson.
Kate chose an ivory brocade coat with a black pillbox hat for the ceremony, while Wills wore a formal suit with a waistcoat and red-and-blue tie.
Their visit came amid press reports that Kate is set to increase her charity work in the autumn, which some speculate is designed to boost her profile ahead of an engagement announcement.
"Kate's name is already down for certain events," a royal courtier is quoted as saying in the Sunday Telegraph.
"She will take a higher profile before the engagement is announced."
The 28-year-old helps at her parents' company, Party Pieces, which sells items for children's parties. Through that she is also closely involved in the Starlight Children's Foundation.
