Katie Price will appear on Jonathan Ross' Friday night TV show this week to speak for the first time about her split from husband Peter Andre.
The mum-of-three, who was married to the Aussie singer for three and a half years, will address the couple's public separation - announced earlier this month - as well as her hopes for the future on the show
The former glamour model – aka Jordan – is believed to be desperate to reunite with her husband, sending him text messages during her birthday celebrations at the weekend. But Pete has declared there is "no way back" for the couple and has decided he wants a quickie divorce, the Mirror reports.
"Pete wants to get on with things for the sake of his kids and plough on with the divorce – the quicker the better," a friend of the 36-year-old singer told the paper. "He just wants resolution, again for the sake of the children."
While Katie spent time with her six-year-old son Harvey on Saturday, Pete, who has not seen his wife since they split 16 days ago, was reunited with his children, 21-month-old Princess Tiaamii and Junior, three, who last week flew back from the Maldives after a fortnight with their mum.
Since returning from her sunny retreat Katie has been spotted visiting the office of Fiona Shackleton – the lawyer who handled Sir Paul McCartney's divorce from Heather Mills.
But according to the News Of The World, Katie's meeting was only a reaction to her husband's visit to his layers on Thursday. "I feel pushed into this," she said. The only reason I saw lawyers is because I felt I had no other choice. I want us to try again."
