Khloe Kardashian on her fertility issues and reports she is jealous of her pregnant sister Kim

Khloe Kardashian has made no secret of her desire to have children with husband Lamar Odom, and no-one would blame her if she felt just a twinge of jealousy towards her sisters, mum-of-two Kourtney, and Kim, who is expecting her first baby. But that couldn't be further from the truth, says the reality star. "Please. People want to assume I am devastated. I couldn't be happier," Khloe told Redbook magazine. "I actually got mad at Kourtney, because she was afraid to tell me at first. So I get why people think I'm hurt, because my own sister thought I would be. "As the most outspoken member of the Kardashian clan, much of Khloe's life has been an open book — and that includes her struggle to conceive. Her candor has been a double-edged sword, however.

"I do think (sharing) my difficulty to get pregnant has helped a lot of women," the star said, adding that she doesn't want to be defined by her fertility issue. "Do I wish people would quit asking me about it 24/7? Yes, but I don't regret it. I was 26 when that started, and I admit, I didn't know a lot about my body. It was hard for me to understand because my mum had six kids, and Kourtney got pregnant so quickly. "People assume I'm desperate for a baby. And yes, I would love to have a baby. But I'm 28, and I've been married three and a half years. I love my life, but it doesn't feel incomplete right now. "Khloe, who shows off her 25-pound weight loss in the magazine in a series of figure-hugging dresses, also clarified the cause of her fertility issues.

"It's more about my hormones being off," she said, adding that while she is addressing it, life certainly doest revolve around it. "I was taking hormone shots to stabilize them, and you have to do that consistently and they have to be done by a doctor. You can do them yourself, but I couldn't. And then after your cycle, you have to go to the doctor for ultrasounds and more testing. "If I'm in Miami and I miss a treatment, I have to start all over again. It's a commitment, and I don't mind doing it, but the timing was just off."
