On Monday, Julianne Moore shared a poignant message about the increase of antisemitism in the US. The actress is a fervent supporter of the Jewish community and regularly speaks out against the rising wake of antisemitism that's gripping society across the globe.

The 62-year-old Sharper star took to social media to share a harrowing message about antisemitic hate crimes in the States. The post noted how the Jewish community fae 55% of all religious hate crimes in North America, yet only make up approximately 2.4% of the country's population. Julianne is one of many stars who have addressed the rise of antisemitism in recent months, another example of which you can see in the clip below...

Julianne, whose husband Bart Freundlich is Jewish, captioned the post: "Today, and every day, I stand against antisemitism. Go to StandUpToJewishHate.org to learn more. #StandUpToJewishHate."

The star was praised by friends and fans for her support, including actress Isla Fisher who wrote: "Thank you," with a string of love heart emojis.

Other followers followed suit, with one writing: "Thank you for sharing the truth," and another saying: "We need more of this. Thank you!" A third added: "Thank you for including us in your activism," And a fourth noted: "Thank you for speaking up against Jewish hate."

Julianne's comments were also flooded with pleas to "free Palestine," a reference to the ongoing turmoil in Israel that has left many Palestinians displaced.

Julianne's post comes not long after fellow actor Ben Platt addressed 'neo-Nazi' protestors who gathered outside the first preview of his new Broadway musical Parade. The Dear Evan Hansen star shared a rare message with fans to address the situation, referring to the event as to "ugly and scary."

Fans expressed immense support for the actor, with many taking to his comment section to thank him for taking a stand. One fan wrote: "Thank you. As a Jew who regularly faces antisemitism in Georgia, thank you for taking this role. Thank you for helping tell this story." Another said: "I simply cannot wait to see your show and support every single one of you. I love you and am so proud of you. Not just for your years of beautiful work, but for your kindness, calm & love in the face of evil."
