Mandy Moore has proved confidence only gets better with age after sharing a gorgeous swimwear picture.
The 42-year-old actress showed off her enviable physique in a selfie posted to Instagram. She showed off her toned tummy in a pair of high-waisted bikini bottoms and a matching bralette.
Captioning the photo, she wrote: "Saturday swim and packing for a little getaway…" The post comes shortly after The Princess Diaries actress opened up about her "loose skin" on social media, which, she said, was the natural result of having three children in just four years.
Although her face was only half visible in the photo, Mandy looked her typical gorgeous self with her full lips and sculpted jaw evident. Her long caramel locks fell effortlessly around her shoulders.
Mandy Moore's candid discussion about her postpartum body
On 16 July, Mandy shared a brief video of her abdomen, captioning it, "After 3 kids in 3 1/2 years, this is what my body is...loose skin and all."
She later detailed her postpartum fitness journey, saying she was "super awkward" and "not a natural athlete," but that she was "committed to getting stronger for the long run." In the clip, Mandy could be seen completing an impressive pull-up.
The singer-songwriter shares three children with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith: Gus, five, Ozzie, three, and Lou, one. Before their wedding in 2018, she was married to musician Ryan Adams between 2009 and 2016. In June, she shared further insight into her life as a mother, speaking candidly about her experience giving birth to both Lou and Ozzie less than two years apart.
Speaking on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, she said the quick birth succession "took a toll" on her, adding that she was "still emotionally recovering".
Mandy admitted she was thankful that pregnancy "was easy for me", and that she had made a lucky escape from suffering "any sort of postpartum symptoms".
Last year, she shared a sweet message about motherhood on social media to celebrate Mother's Day."
Being a mom is the single greatest gift of my life, and while you’re never off the clock worrying or stressing or planning, the quiet, unmistakable joy triumphs over everything else,” she wrote.
"I’m endlessly grateful to the moms in my life who model what it takes, lend an ear, make the best suggestions, and generally make me feel less alone on the journey."
