British model Jodie Kidd is to appear in the video for the latest Fun Lovin’ Criminals single, Bump. In the promo, the blonde amazon, who is stepping out with polo player Tarquin Southwell, is decked out in Dolce & Gabbana and sitting in a club surrounded by gay men. When Criminals frontman Huey sees Jodie, he breaks into a boogie to catch her eye, before the two then segue into a dance routine.
The model’s agent says that Jodie took dance lessons beforehand and that she had a whale of a time with the gay men, who were so excited to meet such a stellar model that they gave her the royal treatment.
As well as modelling – Jodie has just shot a 16-page spread for trendsetting Italian Vogue – the six-footer is looking into opening her own polo school with Tarquin. Named The Inca Polo School, after her terrier, Inca, it should not be short on offers – only last week she played against Prince Charles in a charity match.
