Kelly Ripa and her husband Mark Consuelos have been soaking up the sun on vacation, but it was back to business on Tuesday, with the Live star returning to New York for a very special reason.

The presenter has been taking time off from the ABC daytime show, but took a break from her vacation to attend Variety's Power of Women luncheon, where she was honored for three decades of charitable work with WIN NYC, an organization that provides safe housing to homeless women and children.

Kelly's fans rushed to congratulate her, commenting: "Congratulations, Icon! Literally so happy for you. Put ALL the respect next to your name," while another wrote: "You are amazing! Inspired always by you."

The 52-year-old's fans are likely excited that her return to New York means she'll soon be back on their screens following her break.

It is not known when Kelly will be returning to Live, but will likely do so before the end of the current season, which will see Ryan Seacrest bow out after six years on the show.

Ryan's last day will be Friday April 14, and Kelly will no doubt have some surprises in store for her co-star to mark his last day.

Ryan announced the news of his departure - which will see him focus on his other projects in LA, including American Idol - at the top of February 16th's episode, telling Kelly: "I will always be forever grateful," after which Kelly insisted: "You are family here, we love you, we are so proud of you."
