Gigi Hadid's new mule designs for Stuart Weitzman feature bright colours and evil eye motifs. The American model's second collaboration with the footwear designer has seen the release of two new shoe styles, the Eyelove and the Eyelovemore, selling for $498 (£378) and $598 (£453), respectively. Both are flat mules with pointed toes, which Gigi believes are the perfect shoes to take fashionistas into the cooler months.

"I've really been into slides lately and wanted a pair that can take me into fall... no more cold toes!" she smiled to WWD. "The evil eye is a powerful symbol meant to protect those who wear it from negative energies. It's emotionally comforting and beautiful and captivating to look at. The bright colours are fun and remind me why we designed these shoes - they represent our commitment to build three additional schools with Pencils of Promise."

Pencils of Promise is an organisation that helps build schools, train teachers and fund scholarships, and proceeds from Gigi's designs will once again benefit the for-purpose company. Weitzman has also pledged to donate $105,000 (£80,000) to Pencils of Promise to build three schools in Ghana, Guatemala and Laos.

Gigi's new designs will be sold in Weitzman stores as well as through online fashion retailer Moda Operandi and luxury fashion company Lane Crawford. Meanwhile, the Weitzman flagship store in SoHo, New York will temporarily transform into a pop-up shop for the new offerings - just in time for the holidays.
