It's been almost a week since Peter Phillips married the stunning Harriet Sperling in the Cotswolds on 6 June 2026. It was a wonderful wedding at All Saints' Church in Kemble, and hailed as a true treat for royal fans, with the world seeing the whole family come together to celebrate the union.
The Princess of Wales was widely considered the best-dressed guest, delighting fans with her nude-coloured Roland Mouret tweed number topped with an elegant Jane Taylor hat.
Accessorising to perfection, she carried a pretty cream clutch bag by Forever New. However, when she departed the venue, expertly dodging the rainy conditions, the royal elegantly swept into the front seat of a waiting car, and in the footwell, we spied another designer bag.
Kate's tote
The royal's bag was designed by one of her favourite British brands, Mulberry. We've identified it as the 'Bayswater Tote' in Oak Small Classic Grain Leather, and it's priced at £845.
The website says of the style: "The 'Bayswater' is considered a Mulberry icon. This Tote bag update is eternally practical and spacious enough to fit essentials from an iPad to a pair of shoes. This classic style retains the beloved Postman's Lock hardware of the original. Use the removable pocket to store your most valued essentials."
Kate may have used the style to contain other belongings for a quick freshen-up ahead of the service.
This particular bag hasn't had many public outings; in fact, the last time the royal used it was back in 2025. Kate and her husband, Prince William, famously took a train to Pontypridd, in south Wales, ahead of St David's Day. In pictures that appeared on the couple's official Instagram account, the pair walked along a busy platform, and Kate was seen carrying the tan commuter-style bag.
Kate's love of Mulberry
Kate is a long-time Mulberry fan. She has long worn the classic label from head to toe, frequently investing in their coats, bags and even fine jewellery. The quintessentially British brand is known for its high-quality, timeless leather pieces.
One of Kate's very first Mulberry bags was a bright pink number, known as the 'Hobo', which was a big hit in the late '90s and early '00s.
The future Queen wore the style on a night out in 2008, where she rocked a green sequin halterneck top, neon-yellow hot pants, pink leg warmers, and knee-high heeled boots for a charity roller disco. Her Mulberry 'Hobo' took centre stage.
