It was wonderful to see the Wales family at the 2026 Commonwealth Games on Saturday.
The famous five arrived in Glasgow for the penultimate day of the sporting event, and we loved how smart and pristine they were in their classic attire.
Prince George led the way in his neatly pressed trousers and white Ralph Lauren shirt. His little brother Prince Louis wore the same outfit, only his shirt was designed in a nautical light blue.
The boys looked as if they could have been in an advert for the brand - Ralph Lauren's iconic campaign imagery often features this preppy, wholesome look.
Ralph Lauren shirts start at around £40, and are timeless in their design; they can be worn for a plethora of social situations, from parties to sporting events.
Famously preppy, this type of shirt is comfortable, yet streamlined, with a tailored finish. It's the type of style the royal children could pass down to their own offspring in years to come.
Princess Charlotte's Ralph Lauren moment
Princess Charlotte also owns items from the brand. The young royal celebrated her eleventh birthday in May and in her official birthday portrait, she donned a stylish Ralph Lauren knitted jumper.
The cable-knit style was from the women's collection, and many felt it was likely she borrowed the knit from her mother's wardrobe, as Princess Kate is a huge fan of Ralph Lauren, having been partial to the brand's knitted sweaters and classic crewnecks for many years.
Ralph Lauren, the facts
American designer Ralph Lauren first founded his namesake label in 1967, originally launching it as a menswear brand, before expanding to womenswear in 1971. Since then, the fashion house has sold everything from accessories, denim ranges and kidswear, to home interiors and fragrances – and even counts restaurants in its ever-growing empire.
However, in 2015, Ralph shocked the fashion industry when he announced that he was stepping down as CEO of his eponymous label.
From creating his iconic polo shirts to dressing Hollywood stars and royalty, there is no doubt that the style maestro has made his mark on the world of fashion.
