The Princess of Wales never fails when it comes to providing us with sartorial inspiration.
But while we simply love her royal style, sometimes we like to hark back to the days before she was the future queen to help us conjure a fashion epiphany.
If your autumn wardrobe is on your mind, then look no further because this particular look from the senior royal is one we cannot wait to recreate.
Cast your minds back to 2007: Kate and her then-ex-boyfriend, Prince William, were "on a break" from their relationship, and reports of a reconciliation were rife. Kate made an appearance alongside her brother, James Middleton, at The Concert For Diana at Wembley Stadium.
But while her future with her now-husband was unclear, one thing she could rely on was looking exquisite - and she did, in a striking white mini coat-dress.
The piece perfectly flattered the St Andrews alumna, its matching belt cinching her waist. Meanwhile, she added a killer pair of black suede knee-high boots, and her look was complete with a very on-trend Y2K micro-bag.
As for her glam for the occasion, Kate wore her trademark brunette locks styled sleekly, and had plenty of face-framing layers to accentuate her beautiful features.
Her makeup look was quintessentially noughties and was comprised of dark kohl eyeliner on her waterline and nude lips.
On-again, off-again
The outing was at a crucial point in William and Kate's relationship. Just hours before, Kate's car was spotted the previous night at Clarence House, but upon arriving in the royal box, she sat two rows behind William with her brother.
Meanwhile, the future King took a place next to long-time pal Thomas van Straubenzee and his brother Prince Harry, who was accompanied by his then-girlfriend, Chelsy Davy.
Also in the royal box were Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Zara Phillips with her rugby beau Mike Tindall, and Diana's siblings Earl Spencer, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes.
Kate's noughties style
One of our favourite throwback looks from Kate has to be the plunging silk gown she wore at for a night out at Mahiki in Mayfair with her sister Pippa.
The paisley dress featured a daring halterneck and scarf print and looked simply stunning on Kate.
To finesse her glamorous look, the royal accessorised with some black boho jewels and wore her chocolate locks down loose. A cluster of fine silver bangles up coiled Princess Kate's arm, leading the eye to her mid-sized black leather handbag.
