Sex And The City star Kyle MacLachlan wore a kilt for his TV wedding on the hit show, but opted for a traditional black morning suit for his real-life nuptials to 34-year-old New York fashion publicist Desiree Gruber last Saturday.
His beautiful bride, who counts Naomi Campbell among her high-profile clients, also went with tradition for the low-key, intimate ceremony at Miami’s Plymouth Congregational Church. A colourful bouquet of springtime blooms accompanied her elegant strapless white gown with waist-length veil.
Kyle and Desirée first met in the waiting room at a chiropractor’s office in 1999, and announced their plans to marry last August. The wedding is the first for the 43-year-old Twin Peaks actor, though he was engaged to supermodel Linda Evangelista for four years.
No news on honeymoon plans, but the actor is currently at work preparing a TV pilot, entitled Jo, alongside Four Weddings And A Funeral star Andie MacDowell.
