Chatting to HeyUGuys on the BAFTA red carpet, the X Men: Apocalypse star spoke about her busy schedule, explaining: "We've just finished shooting season seven of Thrones, and I've got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts. And then we go on to Season eight. I've got a busy year lined up."

Fans were quick to discuss the news that one of the last remaining Stark siblings would live to see another season, with one writing: "So she won't die in season 7 woop woop," while another added: "Knowing who will survive in Game of Thrones is a big spoiler itself." However, not everyone was convinced that this meant Sansa would make it through season seven, with one noting: "It doesn't confirm that she'll survive season 7. She could be filming a flashback scene."

The star has opened up about what to expect from her character
in the upcoming series, telling
Vulture: "At the end of the season [six], Sansa gets a taste of power – and it's the first time that she's had that ever, really. She feels like it's deserved because she did so much for Jon and the North, so when she saves the day and doesn't get any recognition for it, it was like she had that first taste of power and then was immediately stripped of it. It will be a real adjustment for Jon to listen to her and do what she says."
