Will there be a 365 Days 2?

While Netflix are yet to confirm themselves that a sequel is in the works, two of the stars have hinted that a second chapter in the story is on the cards for the future. Speaking on an Instagram live in their native Poland, Anna Maria Sieklucka and Magdalena Lamparska, who played Laura and Olga, both commented on the prospect of a second film, but stated that due to the pandemic, it's likely to be delayed.

Anna Maria explained: "We will not be able to go abroad to shoot this year because of the pandemic. It will probably be next year. We do not know exactly when we will be able to start." While Magdalena added: "A trip to another country, especially to Italy, would be too risky for the Polish crew at the moment."

Fans are desperate for a sequel

Fans have been taking to social media to give their critique of the movie and to plead with the producers to provide the next chapter in the story. One person tweeted: "If the producers continue this with a sequel, they need to change the story line and get us all lifetime's worth of holy water to bathe in. #365days." While a second person added: "With how people reacting to #365days is it safe to say we got our sequel?"

Viewers also took to commenting on the ending of the film, which (spoiler alert!) was certainly a cliffhanger and left the story open to continue. "They didn't specify who was going to kill Laura? So, let's say they killed Olga instead because Laura dyed her hair blonde. There's your sequel right there! #365daysnetflix #365days." We'll just have to be patient!
