Taylor Swift is currently embarking on her huge Eras North American tour but the singer stepped off the stage to attend the iHeart Radio Music event to pick up a very special award. The Anti-Hero hitmaker was honoured with the Innovator Award at the event held in Los Angeles.

Before Taylor picked up the gong, a video played to the audience which showed many other huge names in the industry such as Dolly Parton, Justin Timberlake, and Ed Sheeran paying tribute to Taylor's incredible career and impact on music. Taylor then took to the stage to accept the award and gave an impassioned speech during which she urged others to allow themselves to fail.

Madonna has added a new date to her upcoming tour. The global superstar announced that she will be heading to Nashville, Tennessee to put on a special show in benefit of trans rights organisations. The Material Girl hitmaker took to her Instagram to share the news, telling her fans that the oppression of the LGBTQ+ community is unacceptable, inhumane, and creating an unsafe environment.

Madonna then added that she will be joined by RuPaul's Drag Race winner Bob the Drag Queen for the show, which will be held at the Bridgestone Arena on 22 December. Meanwhile, Madonna will be putting on a number of other concerts later this year as part of her Celebration world tour.

Marvel and Creed III actor Jonathan Majors has been formally charged with varying counts of assault. The actor was initially arrested in New York City after an alleged "domestic dispute" and now, in a new development, Jonathan has been charged by the New York District Attorney. The actor's charges include three counts of assaults in the third degree, aggravated harassment in the second degree, and three counts of attempted assault in the third degree. Jonathan denied any wrongdoing via a statement from his lawyer that was released following his arrest.

If you were a fan of the hit Disney movie The Aristocats then listen up, because Questlove has revealed he will be producing and directing a live-action/hybrid adaptation of the hit film. The Oscar-winning musician, who is a founding member of hip-hop band The Roots, began working on the project after watching old Disney movies during the coronavirus pandemic. Questlove will also, of course, take the reins of the film's soundtrack, and the artist explained in a statement the original music helped introduced him to jazz as a child. Further details on the upcoming film are not yet known, but we're already excited about that soundtrack.
