The television host took to Instagram on Tuesday to deliver some news about another project away from the morning show.
He shared a video of himself about to head to the set of the $100K Pyramid in LA. Michael revealed the game show is back for its second season in Los Angeles and its seventh overall.
The news will delight many viewers who love the reboot of the classic $64,000 Pyramid, but there were plenty who were not pleased to hear he would be away from GMA again.
"So no GMA this week? Come on," wrote one, alongside a crying face emoji. Another added: "Get back to GMA!!!! You're so missed," while a third commented: "I think Michael Strahan should be the fill-in. He’s not there, more than he is."
There is no denying that the former athlete is a very busy man, with many projects on the go.
He was recently awarded a spot in the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, as he recently shared on Instagram.
What's more, Michael chose to share the moment with his beloved family members, including his mother and siblings. Alongside several photos from the event, he wrote: "
Honored to officially be a member of the Texas Sports Hall of Fame. Grateful to have my mom, brothers, sister, and friends in attendance with me. Congratulations to the entire class of 2023."
Fans were quick to comment on the post, with one writing: "So proud of you Michael," while another wrote: "Love this picture of you and your family, your mother looks wonderful," while a third added: "Major congratulations!"
