I have been kicked out of the press room and am now home - thank you for following along with us! Some final thoughts can be found here but TL';DR, for all the Oscars' bluster about being the biggest night of the year, the ceremony itself was a bit of a bore, non?
This awards season has felt sewn up for weeks and Jimmy's jokes mostly fell flat. His saving grace, thankfully, came from Ryan Gosling and his furiously fantastic performance of 'I'm Just Ken' with Slash, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa and Kingsley Ben-Adir.
