Golden Globes 2026 live: all the big winners, plus must-see moments, surprises, reunions, more

Noah has been sweeping the awards since his Emmy in September for season one of The Pitt, picking up the Emmy, the CCA and now the Golden Globe.

He is also nominated for the SAG's Actors Awards, which, let's be real, seems to be his at this point - and as HELLO!'s unofficial The Pitt correspondent, I think it's incredibly deserved. That breakdown in the pediatrics (peds) room that has become a makeshift morgue is a lesson in acting.

​At the end of season one Noah's wife Sara sent him to the beach for three days, and he tells HELLO! that she will be sending him away again when season two wraps but he does not know where!

And the Golden Globe goes to... song of the year 'Golden,' KPop Demon Hunters. It won over 'Dream as One,' Avatar: Fire and Ash, 'I Lied to You,' Sinners, 'No Place Like Home,' Wicked: For Good, 'The Girl in the Bubble,' Wicked: For Good, and 'Train Dreams,' Train Dreams.

Owen Cooper is still reigning, and has won yet another award for Adolescence. Other nominees were Billy Crudup for The Morning Show, Walton Goggins for The White Lotus, Jason Isaacs for The White Lotus, Tramell Tillman for Severance, and Ashley Walters for Adolescence.

This year's ceremony brought us the first ever Golden Globe given to podcasts, and the inaugural winner is Good Hang with Amy Poehler.

Other nominees were Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, Call Her Daddy (Alex Cooper),  Smartless, The Mel Robbins Podcast, and NPR's Up First.

While the TV categories have seemed locked up for a while, it's been really refreshing to already see some diversity in the film categories. Stellan and Teyana were big wins that people had predicted, but their wins after the Critics Choice Awards' curveballs just last week made it even more satisfying.

Quite a meta win for Seth Rogen, who just won for The Studio, and "pretended to do this" on the show. He beats out Adam Brody for Nobody Wants This, Steve Martin for Only Murders in the Building, Glen Powel for Chad Powers, Martin Short for Only Murders in the Building, and Jeremy Allen White for The Bear.

Once again, Jean Smart wins for Hacks, her third win, this year over  Kristen Bell for Nobody Wants This, Ayo Edebiri for The Bear, Selena Gomez for Only Murders in the Building, Natasha Lyonne for Poker Face, and Jenna Ortega for Wednesday.

Let's go, Noah Wyle!

The doctor is in! Noah Wyle nabs yet another award for his stellar role on The Pitt, beating out Sterling K. Brown for Paradise, Diego Luna for Andor, Gary Oldman for Slow Horses, and Adam Scott for Severance.

Stellan Skarsgard wins the nod for Sentimental Value, beating out Benicio del Toro for One Battle After Another, Jacob Elordi for Frankenstein, Paul Mescal for Hamnet, Sean Penn for One Battle After Another, and Adam Sandler for Jay Kelly.

Best Supporting Actress is the first category of the night goes to Teyana Taylor - and backstage has exploded! 

As the actress broke down in tears as she walked to the stage, there were cheers and claps for her in the room and behind-the-scenes.

"What a way to kick off the evening," HELLO! overheard from several guests. This may be Teyana's year...

Teyana Taylor has nabbed the first award of the night, and her first Golden Globe, for One Battle After Another. She won over Emily Blunt for The Smashing Machine, Elle Fanning for Sentimental Value, Ariana Grande for Wicked: For Good, Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas for Sentimental Value, and Amy Madigan for Weapons.

Hello! I am backstage at the Golden Globes tonight for HELLO and it's the most star-studded night of the year already.

We've seen Jennifer Lopez, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kate Hudson, Miley Cyrus, Sterling K Brown, Sarah Snook, Pamela Anderson, Jessie Buckey, Kristen Dunst and Jesse Plemons, and Chase Infiniti...

Nikki, taking a jab at the network airing the Golden Globes and its current turmoil in her monologue, said of the network: "One more place where you can C... BS news."

Can we declare a star of the year already? Hudson Williams, aka Heated Rivalry's Shane Hollander, made his Golden Globe debut in an Armani suit and Bvlgari jewelry.

Glenn Powell may be sparking romance rumors with Landman actress Michelle Randolph, but for the Golden Globes, his plus ones of choice were his mom and dad, Cindy and Glen Powell Jr.

Though we're still an hour or so away from likely seeing MC Nikki Glaser roasting the celebrity attendees during her monologue, she was already having fun on the red carpet, twirling in a stunning pink dress, surely one of many gowns tonight.

Of course, we love the ceremony and award-handing itself, but we'd be remiss to not admit that the red carpet fashion is half the fun.

Do we have the first red carpet baby bump reveal of 2026's awards season on our hands? Wunmi Mosaku, who starred in awards season darling Sinners, revealed her pregnancy on the red carpet on Sunday, highlighting her baby bump in a stunning, bright yellow gown.

This year's winners and presenters at the Golden Globes will receive the Golden Globes bag, which features The Ultimate Gift Book, a detailed guide featuring 35 standout offerings across travel, beauty, wellness, and spirits - and which retails for almost $1 MILLION!

This year, there were some big surprises in the nominations. 

I was shocked to see Wicked: For Good miss out on a Best Picture nod, despite the Globes' extended categories, while Emmy winner Katherine LaNasa missing out on a nod for supporting actress for The Pitt in TV was huge news.

Hollywood's biggest party of the year has arrived with the 2026 Golden Globes. One of the most fun ceremonies on the calendar, the Globes usually kicks off awards season but this year has moved to the second weekend in January – and it means bigger names and bigger moments.

HELLO! will be in attendance, joining potential winners Leonardo DiCaprio, Amanda Seyfried, and Noah Wyle backstage, while the biggest names in pop culture –  Heated Rivalry stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams – will make their awards debut presenting on the stage.
