Welcome to Beauty Receipts, where each fortnight, we ask interesting women to give us a glimpse into their beauty routines, from what they splurge and save on, to their top makeup and skincare tips. Intrigued? Read on for the products that make the cut for Strictly Come Dancing star Saffron Barker

Saffron Barker’s skincare routine

“Skincare is something I’ve always been passionate about and has been part of my daily routine since I was a teenager. My favourite products are from the Biore Rose Quartz range, from £4.99, – they have a scrub, a cleanser (which I use daily), and a lovely face mask too. They also do these amazing pore strips, which are so satisfying – best product ever!

“My mum always told me to never sleep in my makeup – this is something I have always stuck to as I genuinely enjoy the night-time pamper session. Another skincare tip I have picked up from the Strictly Come Dancing glam squad - they would always use under eye patches on me whilst doing my eye makeup and I’ve continued to use this hack myself. I usually go for Skin Republic Collagen Under Eye Patches, £5.99. Not only are the eye patches great for catching any product fall-out, but they hydrate and combat any puffiness or dark circles.”

Total: £10.98

Saffron Barker’s hair care routine

“I wash my hair quite a lot as I work-out most days. I discovered this amazing brand called Function of Beauty, £39 for shampoo and conditioner, where you design your own shampoo and conditioner for your hair type and goals. In terms of hair tools, my go-to is the Mark Hill Mix n’ Match Wand, £24.99 - I use it with the thicker barrel style attachment to style my hair with beach waves and this wand helps create this look perfectly.”

Total: £63.99

Saffron Barker’s makeup routine

“I love the entire getting ready process and could sit for hours doing my makeup! I typically like my skin to look fresh and dewy. To create that glassy look, on top of my base makeup, I mix the ICONIC London Illuminator, £25.50, and Sheer Blush, £15.30, and pat it onto the highs of my cheekbones. It creates such a flawless and effortless look, and the products feel super lightweight.

“I usually have eyelash extensions, so my overall makeup routine is fairly fuss free – when finished, I’ll spritz all over with ICONIC London’s Prep Set Glow, £18.70. I use this all over my body too – it’s a miracle product. ICONIC products last for ages and they are so pigmented and high impact that you don’t need to use much.”

Total: £59.50

Saffron Barker’s body care favourites

“I love a shower as it makes me feel pumped and refreshed for the day ahead. But if I want to relax, you can’t beat a bath with the Laura Mercier Crème Brulee Honey Bath, £41. I’ll often watch an episode of something on Netflix whilst in the bath, with a scented candle lit on the side so I can really relax – I like to have the full spa experience!

“In terms of fragrances, I always wear Paco Rabanne Lady Million, £64.50. I also love the Garnier Summer Body Moisturiser, £5.10, as I don’t tan naturally, so that’s brilliant for a natural glow, and really affordable.”

Total: £110.60
